Он и другие жрет... Можно по идее поставить плагин с таким колор-баром - чтоб можно было более точно выбирать.

В стандартную тему посредством плугина добавил-таки колор-бар. Радуйтесь.

Хотя нужен ли он?

Да думаю ни к чему тут этот плагин. Кому надо эти коды и так посмотрит в фотошопе или ещё где.
